4 Months Old

Andrew had his 4-month check up today. He's 16 lbs 13 oz and 24.5 inches long. It turns out that Gabe's and my measurements a few weeks ago were WAY off. :) He's healthy and growing well. The doc said we could start rice cereal any time now! We're blessed with a happy, healthy baby! Praise God!

SLO Visit

This past week, Andrew and I went up to SLO for 3 days.





















We stayed with the Oakes. Here's a pic of Flo and Sera Sage.













We were on a walk at Montana de Oro. (My favorite place in the whole world!)














It was definitley a good time to visit. The hills were green and the wildflowers were in bloom.















It was beautiful!... and a fun trip!

Barber Family Visit

Gabe's parents and bro came to visit this week. I think this would make a great Christmas card shot. :)









Grandma Leila got plenty of snuggles.










This was the first time Jesse got to meet Andrew.

Heards Visit

Andrew loves his Uncle Curtis and Aunt Jo so much!

Toys!!!

Andrew has just recently been discovering his toys so to figure out which ones he liked best, I took him into his room and held them each in front of his face and waited to see what he would do.










These were his two favorites: his doggy blanket and his duck.








As soon as I held the dog out in front of him, he grabbed the blanket part and stuck the dog's snout into his mouth. Here's a pic of him "kissing" his new best friend.






His duck's cheeks flash as it sings "rock-a-bye-baby". It was fortunate that we found this duck yesterday because it was the only thing that would calm him down last night. (I think I heard "rock-a-bye-baby" about 50 times... I'm not joking.)








So here he is with his two new friends and good camera face stare.

Stand Up! Sit Down! Fight! Fight! Fight!

Andrew sat up by himself for the first time Monday morning!

Marks Visit

Ken, Debbie, Jocelyn, and Abigail came for the weekend to visit from Wisconsin. Here they are along with Gabe and Andrew playing DDR (Dance Dance Revolution). We learned that you don't even need dance mats to play! :)
