Laugh it up!

Today was an exciting day. Andrew laughed for the first time! It was so cute. I can't wait to hear him giggle again. (Sorry for the old picture, but Andrew no longer smiles at the camera. Each time I get it out, he stares blankly at it until I put it away. He's been doing this for about a month now. Hence the lack of smiles on this blog.)

Like Grandfather, Like Father, Like Son

According to Barber men, this is arguably the most comfortable position in the world. When I saw Andrew reaching his hand behind his head (trying to get it to reach all the way to his forehead), I cracked up! Maybe the Barber men have something going here.

Jocelyn and Abigail finally got their cotton candy and were both blue and fuzzy within minutes!









Jocelyn got to hold Andrew while Abigail made funny faces at him. He thought they were both hilarious! (So did I!)

Grammy and Papa ELM visit

Andrew has been enjoying time with his Grammy and Papa ELM yesterday and today.

Grammy and Andrew had some quality time talking to each other and telling stories.

Daddy's Boy

Andrew loves to play with his Daddy! Last night, we found out that babies make great tables outside of the womb too! Andrew got a kick out of it and Gabe got to enjoy his strawberry shortcake.
If Andrew could choose where he slept, this would be it... in his Daddy's arms!

Andrew's First Recital

With some help from their moms, Andrew and his friend Joshua sang this song (with hand motions) for their dads tonight for a special St. Patrick's Day dinner. The following are the lyrics sung to the tune of Tiny Tim:

I have a super daddy. His name is Gabriel.
He throws me in the air and I spit up in his hair.
My mommy loves my daddy. He makes her very happy.
Even when he's snappy or mommy missed her nappy.
My daddy's very handsome. We make the cutest pair.
If you look really close, we all have facial hair.
I love my daddy lots. It's almost kinda weird.
And then I just remembered it's all for his beard.

The Isle of Fashion

As far as Andrew knows, this was his first trip to Fashion Island in Newport Beach. (He has slept through previous visits.) The only part he slept through was lunch. Gabe and I enjoyed a nice, quiet lunch in the beautiful sunshine at El Torrito Grill. Yummy! (Try their BBQ chicken salad.)
